Why become licensed?
Country Kids Day Home Agency works with educators in their own homes and communities to provide affordable, quality care.
Are there conditions?
Yes, there are standards that every educator must adhere to in order to maintain licensing. Fortunately, the CKDHA consultants work with you to ensure this is attainable and sustainable.
Why get licensed?
Wages
The government of Alberta wage top-ups provide educators with competitive wages for level 1, 2, and 3 Early Childhood Educators.
Funding
Access to provincial and federal grant funds and subsidies ensure that families are able to access quality childcare without the high cost.
Pedagogy
Educators are supported in the provision of quality childcare through in-person and online workshops, conferences, and collaborative team meetings with other dayhome providers. Funding is available for licensed and certified educators.
